Manifest - Artist's statement
Evolution is inevitable. For nature to create diamonds, the seas had to drain, the mountains had to move, the earth's interior had to erupt, and the moon and the sun had to regulate the planet's climate. These are the rules of the law of the universe, reflected in my art.
Like the Hero's journey in Campbell's concept, the personal evolution of mind, body and personality has led me to the realisation that personal integrity is only possible with a balance of the material and spiritual. "Dying and benig reborn", realising that one needs only oneself to achieve happiness, I created for myself the perfect diamond - the concept of the philosophy of Conscious Hedonism; the hedonist choose the beauty of life through a personal experience of transformation.
As a metamodernist artist, I use the language of painting to show the facets of our ideal non-ideality, the beauty of each person's individuality.
My paintings are made with acrylics according to the principle of layering and hypertrophy of elements. Rethinking expressionism, I create a new dynamic painting on large canvases, symbolising the scale of personality and freedom of expression. Colour and its combinations are a collaboration between the visual and the subconscious. Metallic shades remind us of a continuous connection with the universe, gold, bronze and silver switch on the pleasure receptors of a true Hedonist.
BIO - Artist's biography
Anna was born in 1985 in Kiev, Ukraine.
Since 2000 she has been living in Belgium (Flemish region).
In Kiev she studied at an art school. At the age of 15, after moving to Belgium, she received a degree in costume design (creativity and fashion).
After finishing her higher education in marketing, Anna continued her studies at UAL London College of Fashion as a personal fashion stylist. Today, she has 17 years of experience working with visuals in creating personal style and brand.
In 2021 Anna created her first intuitive painting. Anna started her journey as an artist at the request of private collectors from Belgium, Holland and Sweden, creating for them several personal transformative and highly vibrational works.
At the beginning of 2023, she received another degree in interior design in Belgium, which was the impetus for the birth of the concept of "Hedonist Art" and a new metaphysical art.
As an emerging artist, Anna continues to refine her skills as an artist and is actively engaged in developing her career in the global art market as a globally minded aesthetic artist.
She is currently preparing for her first solo exhibition in Belgium and is excited to share her painting with true Hedonists.
Magic behind my Art
My art is an intimate and sacred process. Exploring the influences of energies on our lives, I let high frequency music flow through me and lay down a certain vibration (Hz) into the canvas.
Intuitively blending colours, bringing the energy through my body and hands, pulling aesthetics from the depths of my subconscious onto the canvas.
The viewer, attuned to the painting, begins to vibrate at this high level like a magnet, attracting into his life the message that was originally embedded in the canvas. In this way I become a catalyst for his personal transformation, turning him into a Hedonist.
